HAS OUR LABOUR PARTY THE COURAGE TO STAND UP TO WINSTON'S LATEST RACIST OUTBURSTS

Winston on TV today spewed forth his predictable horrors of Maori selling off the seabed and foreshore, and denying everyone else access..even though no reputable Maori has claimed either..We had a glorious retreat by our Labour leadership when Don Brash tried the same tactics..Will our Labour leadership stand firm to principles this time??..Remember how Labour won in 1999 with the slogan "closing the gaps"...The closing of gaps policies were rapidly dropped under the Brash onslaught; the gaps certainly have not closed..Hopefully our new Labour leadership will remember both Article 5 of our Party's Aims and Objectives, and also the old Xhosa proverb: " I am because we are"

What's it got to do with Winston? Who let him out?

Well the seabed and foreshore was a lose/lose situation for the Labour Party. I attended and videod the Hikoi to Parliament. Fact is, if Labour had given Maori what they wanted, Labour could have lost the middle NZ vote. Thats my view

I disagree brother...If I am called a hater and wrecker because I exercise my lawful right to protest, then I lose my mana, and I never forget...Last night at a Grey Lynn branch meeting in the local RSA, with all the local drinkers present (about 150), a straw vote was taken to see what those present, in light of Winston's latest strirings, thought of Labour's handling of the issue...80% said Labour had blown it it...It was nice for a change to be part of a majority!!

Winston strikes again for comeback.... welll was he not a 'popular' associate of the party when our party was in Government... Minister outside Government.....and how many ppl were unhappy with him hanging around our own Prime Minister Helen Clarke.
In my opinion Winston reeks of a smell that never goes away!!
