No GST on Food

I just wrote a piece supporting this idea and the calls from the Maori Party to head in this direction. It would be smart for Labour to back the Maori Party on this: http://www.humanitarianchronicle.…

Te Hurihanga - Examining the Costs

Thanks, Ben. I entirely agree.... these are where Labour could be landing some good shots on National... but they seem to be struggling to get any traction - I say let Andrew Little at em! The media…

Andrew Little Entering Parliament?

It needs to happen. We don't see more of him in the media because he is party president - the party president should not be making headlines and taking away from the media the politicians should be…

Good post! (Nice looking blog too!) I'd like to have seen more about this in the media - it seems we're losing a world leading facility, that would have saved a lot of heartache for a lot of victims, offenders and their families. And as you point ou…

I didnt realise that John, wh do we not see more of him in the media? I beleive in Phil, beacuse he works hard, but image Andrew and Phil vs Key and English in the next election, Average kiwi blokes vs the twin suits

As well, he has ethics..It was Andrew Little who forced our then Leaders NOT to sweep the Philip Field issue under the carpet..

I like Phil as well, he's an experienced politician, an incessantly hard worker and a man with a good depth of knowledge, but from what I've seen of Andrew Little, he could add a good bit of charisma and I get the feeling he could easily go toe to t…

I get the feeling the party needs someone like him in parliament and possibly as the leader eventually. Although i admire and like Phil, Key has a charisma that has mesmerized the media, I do beleive that we need someone to do the same. Even if And…

What electorate are you in (if known)?
Maungakiekie
Why do you support Labour?
Because I believe in the value of keeping power close to the people and decentralizing the control of power... democracy. I'm not sure if I think Labour embodies that at the moment, but since it was of its core tenets, it always has more ability to achieve this than National.
What one thing would you like the Party to do that it's not doing now?
Beat National in the polls.
